Commander & Lieutenant Role Dynamics
Sea of Sword introduces a paired hero deployment structure. Players select a primary Commander (e.g. The Nameless) paired with a supporting Lieutenant (e.g. Eta). On the battlefield, players can swap active roles to switch between frontline physical defense and long-range magic artillery.
Hero Unity Skills (英雄連携スキル)
When paired heroes build sufficient tactical energy, they can execute synchronized Hero Unity Skills. In gameplay trailers, these duo skills demonstrate immense destructive power capable of shattering stone barriers and breaking enemy formations.
Dual Troop Branch Formations
Unlike classic single-unit squads, deployments in Sea of Sword feature dual troop types per hero pair (e.g. Infantry vanguard paired with Mage support). This requires active tactical awareness of Langrisser’s traditional counter triangle.
What we refuse to invent
Numerical multipliers, exact cooldown seconds, and “best pair” meta tier rankings remain withheld until playable testing or official kit sheets are released.
